About Peter Rawson
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Peter Rawson has established himself as a seasoned professional in the security solutions sector. His latest role as the Trellidor International Executive and member of the Executive Committee focused on driving international expansion, strategic planning, and execution of key initiatives.
Professional Journey
Peter’s journey with Trellidor began in 1997, managing main centre branches and progressing to National Marketing & Sales Manager, and ultimately Group Marketing & Sales Director.
His last role with Trellidor was the International Executive (July 2022 – June 2024). His tenure has seen him serve on various committees, including Manco, Exco, Product Development, and the Trellidor Board, as well as The Grand Floridian Apartment Complex Body Corporate, and St. Mary’s DSG Board Member. Trellidor Pty Ltd listed on the JSC exchange in 2015. Peter has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, expanding market share, enhancing brand development, increasing sales volumes, extending product ranges, and expanding the franchise network. His work has spanned across South Africa, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Israel, Australia, and England/Ireland, with ongoing research and expansion efforts into the USA, Canada, Chile, and the UAE.

Peter’s leadership extends beyond the boardroom, drawing inspiration from renowned thought leaders like Simon Sinek and Jim Collins to cultivate winning cultures and foster high-performing teams.
His approach is deeply influenced by various TED Talk presenters, encouraging innovation, leadership and empowerment within teams.
Prior Experience
Before his time at Trellidor, Peter held various leadership positions in marketing and sales with Masonite (Africa) and Hunyani Corrugated/Carton and Print, (Zimbabwe) demonstrating a consistent track record of success.
Sports Achievements
In addition to his corporate achievements, Peter had a distinguished career in sports, captaining the Zimbabwe Cricket and Hockey teams, and the Dolphins provincial cricket team.
